Dear Parents,

     There are 24 students* in our class. If you'd like to bring treats to the class to make your child's birthday special, you need to provide a treat for each student. Children who miss out feel terrible. Check with me regarding students on special diets.

    Instead of taking instructional time for the celebration, the treats will be enjoyed at Recess, lunch, or as dismissal. If the chosen time is lunch, an adult will need to be on hand to make sure appropriate clean-up takes place.

• All birthday treats need to be "self-contained." That means nothing which requires cutting or pouring.
• Remember napkins.
• Please do NOT bring sugar-sweetened drinks. Bottled water is always a welcome treat! On a hot day, cold water is even better.
